2003 Strategic Revitalization Plan

Objectives of the Strategic Revitalization Plan are:
- Economic Development: Identify opportunities for economic development
sin the area of heritage and eco-tourism, new retail services, agro-business,
housing, and other market sectors.
- Land Use: Identify needed changes to the Town's planning and
zoning ponicies as they relate to annexation, parking, density,
setbacks, signage, architectural character, and historic preservation.
- Physical Improvements: Identify opportunities for physical improvements in the area of signage, roads, parking, traffic circulation, intermodal transportation, utilities, historic preservation, design standards, sidewalks, streetscapes, landscaping, and public park design.
- Revitalization Process: Devise the institutional, financial, and marketing atrategies to achieve a broad-based revitalization over a multi-year period.
